Altar of the Dying

YomaBarr Nothing better than good old DM to start a week ain't it, and the solos kick ass indeed. All the lead guitar work does. I like this one better than Pestilent Dawn, eat me.

minusoneman2 Slightly blackened brutal unswedish Melodic Death with great Lead Guitars plus a sense for epic arrangements but no Maiden-like melodies. Sometimes Throne remind me of a a more melodic version of late Hour Of Penance. GOOD! Keen on hearing some stuff from the upcoming album

misanthropic_ix Perfect album for random face-punching and drunken death-threats at street lights. Favorite track: Not of Shadow, Nor Fog.
The Exterminator
The Exterminator thumbnail
The Exterminator The solo section in this song blows me away. This section is written by a PRO. It hits me every single time I hear it. It's got so much emotion and energy behind it, and the rhythm/leads under the solo are equally as on point. I can listen to this track on repeat. Just a clinic in how to write a memorable metal song. Favorite track: Altar of the Dying.

Put to death for your beliefs, escape this treason of self reflection End this stranglehold of life This useless faith that you cant see, This crutch of lies from your own dreams Put to death for your beliefs, escape this treason of self reflection This forbidden thinking will make you bleed Their heresy will be forever true.
3.
This soul, from the pits below, eyes of death, skin like winter, a stare of stone The darkest of sin incarnate, the world has seen Its wrath is unmatched, its destruction knows no bounds The enigma of blood and bones, the unholy reaper, the eater of worlds Not of shadow, nor fog
4.
This temple, a place for heathens to die, this horrendous sight Of failure and death, A moat of blood, pillars of bone The chattering of teeth in the darkness, a fear that no living man can attest Welcome to the altar, you shall be free from your treachery
5.
A symbol of loyalty to the dark one it will be paid, for the cause This darkened fate you've chosen, a pledge to the unholy throne An eternal trust. For your sins will be welcomed. Hence forth the legion is yours. Take this oath in blood, the infernal tribute An ember to the inferno, A covenant of darkness
6.
This place of desolation, only the evil can survive So horrid, so unfathomable. Screams, terror A morbid entity lurks in the shadows, the ground made of ash The sky is somber, unspeakable horror Where angels cower in fear, their wings fade...tears of black The pale face of true dread
7.
Pestilence! The plague from centuries before Famine! Forever disease. This contagion, devours their flesh Bones crushed to dust. Blood extracted from their veins No life will be free, no soul will escape Plague upon the unholy
